Great start to a series!
This was a wonderful ride. This is the first in a series, and I will be watching for the rest. Annie has led a troubled life. Her past made her into a cautious woman with trust issues when it came to men, and it finally comes to a head in this story. Her hero, Rafe, has his own damaging past that guides him in his decisions, but he realizes that Annie is his long before she admits it. Everything he does is meant to protect her even though he cannot foresee everything. I loved these two as a couple. They complement each other, make the other stronger. I definitely loved reading this book and highly recommend it.
