Brothers in Blue: Max - Jeanne St. James

This is the first in a series. Max enjoys being in control and takes his job seriously. Amanda has been controlled for too many years and now it is her chance to prove she can be responsible. I loved her willingness to take on the challenges before her despite feeling out of place. With guidance from the Bryson family, she achieves some confidence. The heat between the two is off the charts except when they are bumping heads, although this fuels the feelings. The end of the story had tears in my eyes.

I read this story for Monica's Review and eBook Discovery. This is my unsolicited review.
