This is book 7 in a series. It picks up from the end of book 6. Brian has survived being imprisoned for many years only to find that his wife accepted his death, married, and had children. His only thought to keep him sane while imprisoned was his wife. Following the words of a dying man and hanging onto a mystical necklace, Brian finds himself back in Kuwait. There he finds Alina, and the two find a happiness that makes them strong. Alina wants to be more independent and in charge of her choices. I enjoyed this story.
