This is a story of a rich girl who is tired of her family putting her down and the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Bibi gets cut off financial because she decided to move out on her own. She bumps into Jase, now an ex-con and a business owner. The two of them go full steam ahead with their relationship, doing what is necessary to stay together. It takes them time to acknowledge their true feelings. I loved Bibi's strength and determination to show her family that she can take care of herself. She puts herself through a few humiliating moments with her family and the wealthy life, and she returns to be with Jase. Jase is quite willing to make Bibi his focus. They make a wonderfully strong couple. I look forward Marquita's next book in this series.
I had a chance to read this through Netgalley for an honest review.
