I had a chance to read this pre-release through Netgalley. I enjoyed Eden's journey from London where her curiosity got her into a lot of trouble with the ton to the Highlands of Scotland where she dealt with mistrust and hatred. Along the way, she falls in love with the big, lovable Alec who is heading home after being a spy in the war to take his rightful place beside his grandfather as head of the clan. Their love struggles through attempted murder, scandal, and honoring debts. Both Alec and Edie take their time realizing their love and admitting such to the other. The fire between them keeps drawing them together even before words are spoken. This is a highly recommended read.
